Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This policy explains how Go Ball collects and uses your personal data, in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA). It applies to the Go Ball website and services.

2. What we collect

We collect your name, email address, and (optionally) phone number when you create an account; your booking history and the sessions you join; and payment references from Paystack. We do not store your full card details — those are handled by Paystack.

3. How we use it

We use your data to confirm bookings, send you transactional emails (confirmations, cancellations, refunds), process refunds and organiser payouts, prevent fraud and abuse, and operate and improve the service.

4. Who we share it with

We share the minimum necessary data with Paystack (to take payments and issue refunds/payouts), Resend (to deliver transactional email), and Supabase (our hosting and database provider). We do not sell your personal data.

5. Your rights

Under the NDPA you can access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. You can download a copy of your data and request account deletion from your account settings under Your data. Deletion removes your personal details; we retain anonymised financial records (bookings, payments, refunds, payouts) as required for accounting and legal compliance.

6. Data retention

We keep your personal data while your account is active. After deletion we retain only anonymised transaction records needed for financial reconciliation and legal retention obligations.

7. Security

We protect your data with access controls, encrypted connections, and a database that enforces row-level access. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to keep your data safe.
